CerealBar Phoenix
So today I attended a local event called CerealBar Phoenix. There were some great guys from the local startup / web dev community out and we had some really great, yet laid back, conversation. It’s good to see that there are some smart yet community-minded people in the Phoenix area who are willing to get together and just hang out and talk, with no agenda or other motives. Thanks Steve!
Believe it or not, this was quite a breath of fresh air for me. I have been struggling for a couple of years now to get out in the community more, yet my job was always holding me back, making me feel as if I couldn’t leave even for a couple of hours. Thankfully times have changed and I have a great team to keep things running while I am out and about, making connections, and back on the path towards great personal growth. Some days it is good to be the boss! 
I have made it my personal goal to be showing my face a lot more at these type of events, along with Refresh Phoenix, the Phoenix Ruby Group, and the Phoenix Rails Group. So, feel free to stop me and say hi. I’m always up for a good conversation!
